Warhammer World
Part 2
Hall Four
This housed some of the “newer races” that have been added to the 40K universe – Tau, Necron and Sisters of Battle etc, again featuring again single miniatures alongside large dioramas.
There are cases with Eldar, Orc and Marine Titans, Tau ships and Shrines to the Sisters of Battles Saints, and as you move through this hall there are other games featured too – Necromunda and Kill Team etc.

Leaving Hall Four through some doors leads back to the shop, where I for one, tend to look for any new releases that I’ve seen in the Museum cabinets.
During this hunt, I usually get carted off to Bugman’s Bar – yes, there is a pub and restaurant on site, and the food is very good, the drink enjoyable, and the staff match those in the shop with how helpful and polite they are.
There’s plenty of seating in Bugman’s and allowance for all ages – yes my grandson is shown here, because if you get them interested in Warhammer, they’ll never have money for drugs !
Final words
If you’re a fan of Citadel, Games Workshop and Warhammer models, then I guess it’s a must to visit Warhammer World.
Obviously there are people who just cannot get there because of distance and cost preventing a visit, so I hope that this article along with Part 1 gives you a flavour of what’s there, although there is so much more that I can’t fit on here.
I did hear a rumour, and I stress it is only a rumour, that Games Workshop have purchased a plot of land in Las Vegas with plans to make something similar to Warhammer World, but on the opposite side of “the Pond”.
Whether this comes to fruition, or whether the rumour is just that – a hope, a wish, a dream – that never actually happens, I cannot say. It’d be really good though, wouldn’t it ?
So my final words must be, I gained an interest in these little lead figures when they were Ral Partha imports, then came Citadel Miniatures, followed by Games Workshop and the mutation into Warhammer and Warhammer 40K.

The many different games – Bloodbowl, Kill Team, Age of Sigmar, Space Hulk ( OK I managed to actually play that one ) and Inquisitor to name but a few, with the move to develop and incorporate all the different races and characters, the “future history” that has been developed, I’ve been lucky to see it all develop, mutate, become re-imagined, and have loved it.
After over forty five years of being in the hobby of model making - building aircraft, AFV’s, cars and ships, I still return to collecting and painting these 28mm figures on a regular basis – I just can’t help myself, and I’m glad to admit it.
Warhammer World continues to develop its museum, with regular additions, and with the constant evolution of its gaming systems, along with the addition of new ones too, it’s a place that greets the visitor with something new on a regular basis.
Add that to the excellent food in Bugman’s Bar, what’s not to love ?
